Saving the profile

To save the profile, click the 'Save' button.

A dialog appears where you can enter the metadata about the profile.

We're using the word 'Profile' quite loosely here. Technically, we're creating a StructureDefinition resource of type 'constraint'.

As with creating a new extension, you need to enter a name for the profile, that is used to create its URL. Similarly, clinFHIR will check it that profile aready exists, alerting you if so. The same comments about workflow for creating extensions applies here - right now clinFhir will happily clomp all over an existing profile, not a process that will be acceptable in a production scenario.

Assuming that there were no errors, the profile is saved, and its URL displayed.

Note that you must change something when creating a new profile. The application will not allow you to save a profile that is an exact copy of the base resource.
